Snowshoe Tours
Need a lower adrenaline way to experience Mt Hood and Mt St Helens? Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of PNW Winter. Snowshoeing is a great way to explore and get outdoors without needing a lot of gear- and all of our tours include snowshoes and trekking poles for your adventure. Our tours are beginner friendly, and we teach you how to wear and use your snowshoes before setting out for a peaceful stroll through the snow.
We have several different locations on Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens to tour, and offer pickup locations in Portland and Hood River depending on the trip you select.

-Pocket Creek is our Very Beginner tour, with less than 200 ft of elevation gain, you'll enjoy the snow-capped forest without climbing.
-White River adds a little bit more climbing, with views of the river and snow covered forest. You'll have an opportunity to try out several uphill techniques.
-Marble Mountain/ June Lake is our most challenging and longest distance snowshoe tour at just under 5 miles and 650 ft of elevation gain. This is still a beginner's level course for those that hike often and are used to hiking uphill, but have never done so with snow. Pickup location for this tour is the Woodland Park & Ride
